All-purpose Braai Marinade

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (125ml) vegetable oil
  • ½ cup (125ml) sugar
  • ¼ cup (60ml) vinegar
  • ¼ cup (60ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp (30ml) PnP crushed garlic
  • 1 Tbsp (15ml) curry powder
  • 1 Tbsp (15ml) ground cumin
  • 1 tsp (5ml) paprika
  • Salt and milled pepper

Method

  • Combine oil, sugar, vinegar, sauce, garlic, curry powder, cumin and paprika in a bowl.
  • Whisk vigorously to combine.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour about 1 cup over chicken, beef, pork or fish and allow to marinate for 1 hour.
  • Pour remaining marinade into a sealable jar or bottle and keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
