Beef Bones & Cabbage Stew


  • 500g meaty beef bones
  • 1/2 medium cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 beef stock cube
  • 1 TSP paprika
  • 1 TSP BBQ spice
  • 1 TSP curry powder


  1. In a large pot heat the oil and fry the onion.
  2. Add beef bones and cook until golden browned.
  3. Add the spices to the pot and stir. Continue frying for 1 minute.
  4. Then add water and stock cube into the meat, bring to a boil and simmer on medium heat for 1 hour or until the meat is cooked through.
  5. Finally, add cabbage and simmer for 10 minutes.
