PnP Mexican Beef Burgers with Guacamole

Ingredients

  •  Burger Weekend Deal (Patties, Burger Buns, Slices of Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato and Onion)
  • 1 cup guacamole (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter for grilling
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  • Heat a skillet, grill pan, or braai to medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil or butter.
  • Season the PnP Thick Beef Burgers lightly with salt and pepper.
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, flipping once, until browned and cooked through.
  • Spread a layer of guacamole on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
  • Add a handful of shredded lettuce, a chopped tomato slice, cheese and an onion slice.
  • Place the cooked burger patty on top.
  • Top with a generous serving of sliced pickled red onions.
  • Close with the top half of the bun.
  • Serve with tortilla chips, salsa, or a fresh corn salad.
