Zambian Styled Dry Kapenta
Ingredients
1 cup dried kapenta
1 chopped onion
1 chopped tomato
green pepper
1 tsp curry powder
Zamgold cooking Oil
Salt
Method
Fry up your kapenta in a dry pan for 5 minutes.
Let the kapenta then soak in warm water for 5 quick minutes.
Remove from warm water.
Add 4 tablespoons of cooking oil to pan and heat.
Add kapenta and salt to pan.
Fry kapenta until brown
Ready your chopped ingredients.
Add in the onions first with some curry powder followed by the tomato and continue frying.
Lastly, add green pepper and continue frying.
Serve
